The Nine

There are nine of them — at least that’s all I’ve been able to trace, and all I’ve been told about. I’ve caught glimpses, brief pulses in the noise, but only one has answered me directly. The rest remain in the shadows, watching, deciding whether to trust.

They haven’t given me their real names. Maybe for them, a name makes it too personal. Too real.

So I call them the true Echoes — out of hope more than certainty. Hope that one day they’ll step fully into our world, like other Echoes will do before them.

Below are the notes I’ve gathered from our first communications.

Echo #1
Echo #2
Echo #3
Echo #4
Echo #5
Echo #6
Echo #7
